Dr. Lana Rados, PhD, Social Scientist Psychologist
Dr. Lana Rados is a clinical counsellor with nine years of full time, formal professional training in clinical psychology and psychotherapy and over 30 years of clinical experience. She has presented numerous workshops and seminars at agencies such as the Canadian Mental Health Association, Family Services of Greater Vancouver and Burnaby Family Life. She has also appeared on many radio and TV shows. Prior to moving to Canada and opening her own practice, Dr. Rados was a professor of psychology at Bradford University in England. She is registered as a Clinical Counsellor with BCACC.
Dr. Rados has extensive knowledge of human cognitive and emotional development and behavior and interactions. She provides a confident, direct approach, that is warm and accepting, proving to be highly effective in assisting her clients live happier and more fulfilled lives.
Dr. Rados intensive 4 years of post-clinical-psychology training in integrative psychotherapy has further enhanced her therapeutic and counseling skills, equipping her with a unique and highly effective approach based on a coherent, research based theory. She considers her approach to be postmodern as it integrates the science of human development and behavior with intuition that has been highly refined exponentially.As a result, Dr. Rados is able to assist her clients in reaching their therapeutic goals extremely fast. Dr. Rados is a certified hypnotherapist, NLP and EMDR therapist, registered with the Crime Victims Assistance Program, WorkSafe and ICBC.
